It is possible to choose one of the base classes available at the first level, at the time of character creation. Each of them gives specific bonuses and it is very important to link them to the chosen race or subrace, in order to maximize their effectiveness and efficiency in combat. On Nordock you can choose any of the base classes from the original game, although some of them have been modified to make them more interesting to use. There are eleven basic classes in all:
